Kurtis Hanna
Board President
Kurtis has more than 15 years of experience in drug policy reform and brings deep legislative and regulatory expertise to his role as President of the Psychedelic Access Project. He has been a key contributor to many of Minnesota’s major cannabis and drug policy advancements and is widely recognized as a knowledgeable, trusted voice in the field. Kurtis helps guide PsyAP’s strategic direction, ensuring the organization’s work is informed by real-time policy insight and grounded in evidence-based advocacy.

Maren Schroeder
Interim Secretary
Maren is a seasoned policy strategist and advocate with more than a decade of experience shaping cannabis and drug policy in Minnesota. She played a central role in the state’s 2023 cannabis legalization effort as Coalition Director for MN is Ready, and previously served as Policy Director for Sensible Change Minnesota. Maren brings deep expertise in stakeholder engagement, regulatory structures, and patient-centered policy design to her work with PsyAP.

Director
Elliot is a trusted legal advisor with extensive experience helping businesses navigate complex regulatory environments and high-stakes agreements. He regularly counsels companies in emerging and highly regulated industries—including cannabis and alcoholic beverages—on licensing, compliance, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution. Elliot brings practical regulatory and business law expertise to PsyAP’s work, supporting responsible, evidence-based approaches to psychedelic access in Minnesota.
